Brayden Burries is the most polished off-ball scorer in the class outside the
Big Three tier. The 6-foot-4 Arizona sophomore averaged 16.9 points, 4.2 assists, and 1.7
steals while shooting 39% from three on 7.4 attempts per game under Tommy Lloyd. Burries'
shot profile is unusually mature for his age — he has elite footwork on dribble pull-ups and
his catch-and-shoot percentage from three off relocated movement is among the best in the
country. The case for him: high-floor 3-and-D combo guard with real movement-shooting upside.
The case against: he is not a primary creator against pressure, and his frame may need
strength work before he can survive NBA-level contact at the rim. Most boards have him in
the 10-18 range.
