Privacy Policy

What We Collect

DraftClassInsider is an editorial NFL + NBA Draft coverage site. We collect only what's needed to run the site:

• Server logs: standard access logs (IP, user-agent, URL, timestamp) retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.
• Analytics cookies: we use Google Analytics to count anonymized pageviews and general traffic patterns. GA4 data is retained per Google's defaults.
• Affiliate cookies: clicking an affiliate link may drop a cookie from the affiliate network (Amazon, EndorseSource, AWIN, CJ, Impact) on your device. Those cookies attribute any subsequent purchase you make to us for commission purposes.

We do not collect or store names, emails, payment information, or other personally identifying data ourselves. We have no user accounts, no login system, and no newsletter at this time.

Cookies

Cookies used on DraftClassInsider fall into three categories:

• Essential: none — the site works without JavaScript or cookies.
• Analytics: Google Analytics / GA4 for aggregated traffic counting. You may block these via your browser or a tracker-blocking extension without losing functionality.
• Affiliate: only dropped when you click a "Shop" link on the site. They identify us as the referring affiliate and do not track you across unrelated sites.

Affiliate Disclosure

We participate in affiliate programs operated by Amazon Associates, EndorseSource / NIL Affiliates, AWIN, and Impact Radius (pending Fanatics). When you click a shop link and buy something through the subsequent purchase window, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. Affiliate commissions do not influence our editorial rankings or scouting takes — we write opinions first, then monetize.

Third-Party Services

We embed content and services from: ESPN (player headshots, team logos, live draft feed on our Mock Draft Tracker), Google (Analytics, Fonts), and the affiliate networks above. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data they collect from your visit.

Your Rights

If you're in the EU / UK (GDPR) or California (CCPA), you have the right to opt out of data sharing. Since we don't collect personal data ourselves, the primary way to exercise this is via:

• Your browser's "Do Not Track" setting or cookie controls
• Google Analytics' opt-out add-on
• Your device's ad-tracking / IDFA controls

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a request to limit analytics.
